And I'm off

Hopefully, most of the planning is done and I didn't mess up too many details for my trip to the Republic of Georgia. The spreadsheet is pretty much filled out as well as the many travel forms and docs and I have been a downloading fool of apps, maps and routes onto my phone. I definitely understand why people hire tour guides and travel agents. There are even more hoops than normal to jump through with COVID, so fingers crossed that I haven't forgotten some details. I know things will go wrong and there will be kinks in the planning, but that's part the process.

It is going to be bizarre being away from Dan and the kids for over 2 weeks, but I think it will be good for everyone. I haven't even made any lists for when I am away 😀- everyone is going to do great. But, truth be told, I am a little worried what state the garden will be in when I return.

We have had lots of departures in the past year, but it has been a really long time since I was the one leaving. Maya and Dan were outstanding at the drop-off. They even waited on the bench until the Coach pulled away. It feels quite surreal. I'm excited and nervous. Whether I am ready or not, I am off. In a mere 28+ hours, I will be in Tbilisi, Georgia.
